I hereby express my highest respect and honour to my team of Spirit Guides and many other Gods, Deities and Spirits who have been supporting and guiding me.
Below are some of them who are known and worshipped to this day.
Empress of Heaven
(Maiden)
Also known as Tianhou (天后), Mazu (媽祖), Holy Mother (天上聖母), Goddess of Heaven (天妃娘娘), Meizhou Goddess (湄洲娘媽), Lady Linghui (靈惠夫人).
The Empress of Heaven is believed to be born in the first year of Jianlong in the Northern Song Dynasty (北宋建隆元年) (960), named as Lin Mo (林默). Mo had supernatural powers since childhood. She was the witch / mage who made prophecies and fortune telling, healed the sick and protected people from disasters. After her ascent into heaven, she has been worshipped as the Sea Goddess because she has been saving lives and blessing especially those who live in coastal cities or sail in the sea. There are temples of the Empress of Heaven widely across mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, India, Australia, the US, Canada, Europe and many other parts of the world.
Goddess of Mount Tai
(Mother)
Also known as Taishan Niangniang (泰山娘娘), Mother of Mount Tai (泰山老母), Mother of Wanshan (萬山奶奶), Bixia Yuanjun (碧霞元君, The Primordial Sovereign of the Colored Clouds of Dawn).
Goddess of Mount Tai is believed to be the daughter of an honourable man in Xiniu Kingdom (西牛國), named Yuye, leaf of jade in Chinese (玉葉). At the age of 14, she practised in Sky Mountain (also known as Mount Tai 泰山) and became the Goddess of Mount Tai, Goddess of the Mountains. While Empress of Heaven is Goddess of the South, Goddess of Mount Tai is Goddess of the North, she is highly respected and important in China, also a holy loving mother to the people. As the Primordial Sovereign, the Goddess is believed to lead heavenly soldiers, act as the judge to the good and evil in the human world, heal the sick, bless farming and commercial activities, travelling, marriage and maternity. The Goddess is widely worshipped across China known as Lingyou Palace Temple (靈佑宮), it is also called Bixia Temple in modern times.
Queen Mother
(Crone)
Also known as Goddess of Western Heaven (西王母), Golden Mother of Jade Pool (瑤池金母).
Queen Mother is believed to be a woman chief of a nomadic tribe in the west of Qinghai Lake (青海湖) 3,000 to 5,000 years ago. Her territory includes areas in Kunlun on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and the Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture today. Queen Mother is a wise elderly who possesses the medicine of immortality. She is the leader of goddesses and all things of Yin (陰), and is sent from heaven to be in charge of plagues, illness and punishments. People worship and pray her for blessings, fertility and protection from harms and disasters.
